This includes: your full name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and postal address when you create an account; your driver's license details, passport or ID number when you make a reservation; payment information including credit card numbers and billing address when you complete a transaction; your location data when you use our mobile application with location services enabled; and vehicle preferences, rental history, and communication preferences. We also automatically collect certain information when you visit our website, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages visited.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to: process and manage your car rental reservations; verify your identity and driving eligibility; process payments and send transaction confirmations; communicate with you about your bookings, account, and our services; provide customer support and respond to your inquiries; send promotional offers and newsletters (with your consent); improve our website, services, and customer experience through analytics; comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud; manage our fleet and vehicle availability; and personalize your experience based on your rental history and preferences. We will never sell your personal data to third parties for their marketing purposes.

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your browsing experience. Essential cookies are required for the website to function properly and cannot be disabled. Performance cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our website by collecting anonymous usage statistics. 6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. Account information is kept for the duration of your account and for 3 years after account closure. Rental transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by Dutch tax and commercial law. Payment card details are not stored on our servers; they are securely processed by our PCI-DSS compliant payment providers. Driver's license and identity documents are retained for 5 years after your last rental. Marketing consent records are kept for 3 years after your last interaction. Website analytics data is retained in anonymized form for 26 months. After the applicable retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes: encryption of data in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256); regular security audits and penetration testing; strict access controls and employee training on data protection; secure data centers located within the European Union; automated monitoring for suspicious activities; and incident response procedures in case of a data breach. In the event of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours as required by GDPR.
